Volunteer Health Educator • Pasco County

"I joined PHO because I wanted to do something meaningful in my community. I had a family member affected by HIV and I knew how isolating it could feel. Now I help run health fairs and talk to people who are exactly where my family was — scared and not sure where to turn. Seeing someone leave with a testing referral and a smile is worth everything."

Sandra joined PHO after attending a community health fair in New Port Richey. A retired medical office administrator, she brings organizational skills and genuine warmth to every event. She has helped distribute over 500 free health guides and assisted dozens of community members in finding free HIV and STI testing locations.
